The Cellist part II

I threw together a quick collage of the best shots I had of the cello player. Enjoy.

The Cellist

The other day I went downtown to shoot. I didn't really have a plan as to what to shoot, however, which sometimes yields some great stuff, but this time it didn't. I certainly didn't get there early enough, as I only had about two hours of good light left. About half an hour of that was spent shopping for some good, thin gloves that I could wear while shooting so I wouldn't get immediate frost-bite.

I did walk away with something decent, though. On the way out of/into Spadina station, I passed by a Cellist busking, so I dropped him whatever money I had, pulled out the camera, and when I got the nod of approval, I fired away.

Not entirely sure how I feel about it, maybe it needs an extra kick. In either case, enjoy.

Cheers.

The Girl

A couple of weeks ago I was doing an assignment for school. It was basically a tour of a building on campus. The actual shots of the building were decent, but I also ended up with this one which I think is pretty bitchin'.

EDIT: I decided to keep the black and white one up only. People agree it has more contrast than the colour one.

Anyway, the semester is now done, so hopefully I get a ton of shooting in this month. Definitely need to start putting together a portfolio.

Anyway, more to come.

Cheers.

Good Golly, My Very First Blog!

Well, the first new one in awhile, anyway.

Hi. This is where I'll post my pictures of people and things.

So I just finished a semester of school, which really, I can't say was all that hard with only half a course load, but as always, I made it hard on myself by leaving everything until the last week and then scrambling to get it all together in time. Yay for working best under pressure!

Anyway, the other day at school I ran into my friend Alex, who I haven't seen in quite some time. We decided to head over to a pub on campus and have a beer. I had my camera with me at the time and ended up with this:More stuff to come.

Cheers.
